That being said, two was the most songs any band from this section got. I tried to keep the song list as listener-friendly as possible, but a lot of songs were 'auto includes' because of how huge their impact was to the scene. Might as well give everyone a little taste of how diverse it really was. Since this was going to be the 'one shot' to present this short-lived music genre to the masses, I felt like including some of the genres biggest hits was the way to go. System of a Down's biggest hits even give Linkin Park singles a run for their money. If you look at streaming numbers, these two bands have far and way the most streams on Spotify, in nu metal. I also feel like System of a Down crossed over in some ways and appealed to fans of pop-rock/alternative radio, blending in with listeners who had never listened to any metal before. That's why I have all of their nu metal era singles and promotional singles.

In fact, fans of all genres of music seemed to always love Linkin Park from their beginning. I think Linkin Park had the most crossover appeal from nu metal, especially when they went away from the genre in later years and became even more mainstream. So, I felt like this was a lane worth exploring for a fresh rate idea and felt like I'd be the perfect host. Combine that with the fact that this was my listening experience from the end of middle school, through high school, and most of college in other words the genre means a lot to me. Has there ever been another rate on this forum that covers metal as a genre, exclusively? Definitely not. These are the first early drafts.(Yes this background image is not mine, I found it on some fan-art site but it's amazing and pretty much covers all the major bands in the rate) It includes my final illustration poster, rough sketches/character designs, character turnarounds, background, rough animation, animatics/storyboards and potential character movement for in game.

This gallery contains images and gifs of my senior project for 2018. Last Night by Skillet / One More Light by Linkin Park / Saving Me by NickelbackĮverything by Lighthouse / 1-800 by Logic / Shelter by Porter Robinson & Madeon Thank you all so much for your blessings! This is also a tribute in never forgetting the people who have helped me on my journey thus far. I owe it all to my loving sisters who are so supportive in their own ways. I wouldn't have gotten this far in life without them. I want to do something that I'm proud of and something that they would be proud of me for. My inspiration comes from Cheritz and also from my sisters who helped me so much with my journey in life. As he meets with many others, he starts to see the world in a different light. If he is able to help them, a piece of his memories are returned to him. He is given tasks by a red paper crane to help those who have "given up" on life. The story of the visual novel follows a young man named Tori, who cannot remember anything about his past. Seeking Solace is the name of my visual novel that is currently in development.
